Aloha 2.0 & Bi-arm Franka

Sunday 27 Sept - Wednesday 1 Oct

Come see Gemini Robotics 1.5 on Aloha 2.0 and Bi-arm Franka

Meet the Talent Acquisition Team

Sunday 28th - Tuesday 30th Sept

Join Google DeepMinds Talent Acquisition team if you want to learn about hiring locations and current open roles. Come and ask questions about what we look for in CV's, interview preparation guidance as well as other general tips and tricks for applying to roles.

Enchanted Tools

Sunday 28th - Monday 29th Sept

Stop by and meet Mirokaï — a humanoid robot designed to assist, engage, and inspire -- from our trusted tester, Enchanted Tools

3D Robotics Transformers (Presentation)

Monday 29th Sept 11am - 12pm

We will present some of the recent 3D Transformer models built by the Google DeepMind Robotics Team. The talk will focus on models leveraging a new class of relative positional encoding methods, known as STRING, generalizing the celebrated RoPE mechanism, and particularly relevant for 3D modeling (with tokens embedded in 3D+ dimensional metric spaces).

Gemini Robotics 1.5: A General and Multi-Embodiment (Presentation)

Monday 29th Sept 3pm - 3.30pm

We will go through the latest results from Gemini Robotics 1.5, in particular focusing on the improvements on our latest VLA, deep diving into its generalization and transfer capabilities.

Gemini Robotics 1.5: A Generalist Embodied Reasoning Mode (Presentation)

Monday 29th Sept 4.30pm - 5pm

We will showcase Gemini Robotics-ER 1.5, the most advanced model for real-world embodied reasoning. We will highlight properties of the model ranging from how it uses inference-time thinking to specific capability areas across spatial and temporal understanding.

Multi-Finger Hand Manipulation from RL: DemoStart & Exostart (Presentation)

Tuesday 30th Sept 11am - 11.30am

Building on previous work, DemoStart, we present ExoStart: a general and scalable learning framework that leverages the power of human dexterity for robotic hand control.

Gemini Robotics 1.5: Thinking about Actions (Presentation)

Tuesday 30th Sept 3pm - 3.30pm

Franka Robotics

See Gemini Robotics on Device in action on a Franka FR3 Duo robot at the Franka Robotics booth. The Gemini Robotics SDK accelerates innovation by allowing developers to adapt our models to their specific needs and robots. Our Trusted Tester Franka has used the SDK to adapt our on device VLA model to their new biarm robot. And with just a small amount of teleoperated data they have been able to teach the robot to fold clothes!
